Plant & Animal Genome Conference XXIV (January 9-13, 2016, Town & Country Hotel, San Diego, CA): Greg Gocal, Ph.D., Senior Vice President of Research & Development at Cibus, who has spearheaded internal programs for Cibus and authored numerous peer-reviewed publications, will speak at the event. PAG will convene over 3,000 leading genetic scientists and researchers to discuss recent developments and future plans for plant and animal genome projects.

World Congress on Root & Tuber Crops (January 18-22, 2016, Mingyuan Xindu Hotel, Nanning, Guangxi, China): Dr. Gocal will speak at the congress, which represents a unique opportunity for exchanging expert and scientific advice on root and tuber crops, particularly for the global South. Dr. Gocal has spearheaded internal programs for Cibus and authored numerous peer-reviewed publications.

Genome Editing & Engineering Conference (February 18-19, 2016, San Diego, CA): The Genome Editing & Engineering Conference brings together key industry leaders and researchers to address the concepts, challenges and state-of-the-art methods and applications of genome editing tools such as CRISPR/Cas9, TALENs, ZNFs, and AAVs. CRISPR Precision Gene Editing Congress (February 22-24, 2016, Boston, MA): Cibus is a Program Partner for the inaugural congress where Dr. Gocal will present. 4th Plant Genomics Congress (May 9-10, 2016, London, UK): Dr. Beetham will speak on Monday, May 9. The conference convenes experts working in all areas of plant sciences including NGS, gene editing, genomics, phenomics, proteomics, epigenetics, bioinformatics, data management and microbiome and will examine the latest NGS platforms and ‘omic’ technologies suitable for progressing plant based research.

Corn Utilization and Technology Conference (June 6-8, 2016, Sheraton Westport Chalet Hotel, St. Louis, MO): Dr. Beetham will speak during the June 7 session about using Cibus’ technology for commercial application. The conference is designed for growers, scientists, agribusiness representatives, exhibitors, industry sponsors, members of the media and others seeking to learn the latest developments in technologies related to corn.

World Congress on In Vitro Biology (June 11-15, 2016, Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina, San Diego, CA): Dr. Gocal will speak about RTDS during the Gene Editing session, which will take place on Sunday, June 12. The World Congress is an international event held once every four years and will focus on plant and animal in vitro research throughout the world.
